ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि प्रजापतये त्वा जुष्टं गृह्णाम्येष ते योनिः सूउर्यस्ते महिमा। यस्तेऽ हन्त्संवत्सरे महिमा सम्बभूउव यस्ते वायावन्तरिक्षे महिमा सम्बभूउव यस्ते दिवि सूउर्ये महिमा सम्बभूउव तस्मै ते महिम्ने प्रजापतये स्वाहा देवेभ्यः।
ūpayāmagṛhīto'si prajāpataye tvā juṣṭa≈ gṛhṇāmyeṣa te yoniḥ sūuryaste mahimā. Yaste' hantsa≈vatsare mahimā sambabhūuva yaste vāyāvantarikṣe mahimā sambabhūuva yaste divi sūurye mahimā sambabhūuva tasmai te mahimne prajāpataye svāhā devebhyaḥ.
You have been taken and placed, O Prajāpati; I take you as dwelling—your womb is the sun, your greatness. To whom in the year, to whom in the atmosphere, to whom in the sky the sun’s greatness arose—be to that greatness, Prajāpati, svāhā to the gods.
