Wars between Suras and Asuras : Bhfgu curses Visnu - Verse 98-99

On seeing Asuras sustained by the intelligent Kavya, Devas consulted among themselves. They were dispirited and desired to be victorious then. They said: “This Kavya, spoils everything we do, by his strength. Well, we shall go there quickly lest he should strengthen them further. Killing them forcibly, we shall compel those who are left off to flee to Patala.”
