Saying this to one another, they sought shelter with the mother of Kavya. They had been frightened but the boon of fearlessness was offered unto them as they sought shelter. (The mother of Kavya said :) “O Danavas, do not be afraid, do not be afraid. Cast off all fear. You need not be afraid as long as you are with me.” On seeing Asuras frightened, Devas pursued them earnestly without caring for strength or weakness. On seeing the frightened Asuras being harassed by Devas, the gentle lady (the mother of Kavya) became infuriated and said to them : “I shall cause Anindratva (the state of *Bd.
