“Alarka ruled as excellent king of Ka£I for sixtysix thousand years. He was endowed with handsome features and he maintained his youth (all along). He attained his great longevity by the grace of Lopamudra.” At the end of the period of curse, he killed the Raksasa Ksemaka and rebuilt the beautiful city of Varanasi.
