The Origin of Dhanvantari - Verse 52-53

On seeing the shrine shattered, the lord (of Ganas) approached the king (and said), “ O king, since, without any offence on my part, my shrine has been destroyed by you, the city will be void and desolate all of a sudden”. Then, due to that curse Varanasi became desolate.m
