The blessed Vari§tha who is honoured by gods, gave birth to eight sons. Hamsa was the eldest and the youngest was another. The middle ones were Haha and Huhu. The fourth was Dhi§ana. Then Vasiruci (was born). Tumburu was the sixth among them. Then Visvavasu. These Apsaras-s(celestial artiste) are considered as divine and of auspicious characteristics. Arista gave birth to eight ( ?) daughters, viz. Anavadya, Anavaia, Anvata, Madanapriya, Arusa, Subhaga and Bhasi.
