Description of Pitrs - Verse 3-5

I shall mention all these things in order—the increase and decrease of the Moon consisting of the essence of the waters during the bright and the dark halves of the month, the fixation (decision) about the fortnight dedicated to Pitrs, the acquisition of nectar from the Moon, the Tarpana offerings to Pitrs, the vision of the Pitrs who had extracted the Soma juice from the Kavya fire, and how Pururavas, the son of Ila, propitiated Pitrs. I shall mention the Parvans also (all in due order).
