Hymn to Nilakantha - Verse 2-3

O excellent Brahmanas of pure rites, I shall narrate what had been heard by me before, when it was being narrated by Vayu, the very breath of the Universe, at the sacrifice lasting for a thousand years. It refers to how the throat of Siva, the lord of Devas, attained blueness.1
