Sydmakas (a variety of rice), JVivaras (another variety of rice) , Jartilas (wild sesamum) , Gavedhukas, Kuruvindas { a kind of barley) , Venuyavas (bamboo seeds) and Markatakas (a species of grain) —these are the fourteen varieties of wild and cultivated plants. They were originally produced in the beginning of the Treta age.
