The origin of Sraddha - Verse 109

The mantra: "Receive this pure madhuparka, which is equivalent to ambrosia, which is the foremost among the means for getting rid of samsara, which is prescribed by Lord Narayana, which is honoured by all the gods and which gives relief to the devotees when their bodies are cremated."
