यजिष्ठं त्वा यजमाना हुवेम ज्येष्ठमङ्गिरसां विप्र मन्मभिर्विप्रेभिः शुक्र मन्मभिः । परिज्मानमिव द्यां होतारं च्हर्षणीनाम । शोच्हिष्केशं वृषणं यमिमा विशः प्रावन्तु जूतये विशः
yajiShThaM tvA yajamAnA huvema jyeShThama~NgirasAM vipra manmabhirviprebhiH shukra manmabhiH | parijmAnamiva dyA.N hotAraM charShaNInAm | shochiShkeshaM vR^iShaNaM yamimA vishaH prAvantu jUtaye vishaH
We invoked thee, greatest among the worshipped, eldest of Angirasas; the priests proud with priests, Shukra proud with priests. As the ritual canopy spreads the sky, invoke the priest, the exultant ones. May the mourning hair, the bull, these poisons depart to the waste for the sake of oblation.
