अ॒भि त्वा॑ शूर नोनु॒मोऽदु॑ग्धा इव धे॒नवः॑ । ईशा॑नम॒स्य जग॑तः स्व॒र्दृश॒मीशा॑नमिन्द्र त॒स्थुषः॑
abhi tvā śūra nonumo'dugdhā iva dhenavaḥ īśānamasya jagataḥ svardṛśamīśānamindra tasthuṣaḥ
O hero, we invoke you; you are milked like kine. You are the sovereign of this world, lord of vision; Indra, may you stand in power.
We glorify you, hero, (Indra), the lord of all movable and stationary things, the beholder of the universe,with ladles filled (with Soma, like (the udders of) unmilked kine.
Like kine unmilked we call aloud, Hero, to thee, and sing thy praise, Looker on heavenly light, Lord of this moving world, Lord, Indra, of what moveth not.
