ये वृ॒क्णासो॒ अधि॒ क्षमि॒ निमि॑तासो य॒तस्रु॑चः । ते नो॑ व्यन्तु॒ वार्यं॑ देव॒त्रा क्षे॑त्र॒साध॑सः
ye vṛkṇāso adhi kṣami nimitāso yatasrucaḥ te no vyantu vāryaṃ devatrā kṣetrasādhasaḥ
Those who are skilled, observant, and auspicious omens, the wolf-clansmen—may they spread for us the warding cry, the fields' protector.
May those posts which have been cut down upon the earth, and which have been fabricated by the priests, those which are the accomplishers of the sacrifice, convey our acceptable (offering) to the gods.
O men who lift the ladles up, these hewn and planted in the ground, Bringing a blessing to the field, shall bear our precious gift to Gods.
