बलं॑ धेहि त॒नूषु॑ नो॒ बल॑मिन्द्रान॒ळुत्सु॑ नः । बलं॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय जी॒वसे॒ त्वं हि ब॑ल॒दा असि॑
balaṃ dhehi tanūṣu no balamindrānaḷutsu naḥ balaṃ tokāya tanayāya jīvase tvaṃ hi baladā asi
Grant might to our bodies, grant to us Indra’s strength in battles. Strength to the child in the womb that you who are powerful indeed are.
Give strength, Indra, to our bodies; give strength to our vehicles; (give) strength to our sons and grandsons; that they may live (long); for you are giver of strength.
O Indra, give our bodies strength, strength to the bulls who draw the wains, Strength to our seed and progeny that they may live, for thou art he who giveth strength.
