Their minds were overwhelmed with Tamas. They could not see the Bull-bannered deity. They were in thou¬ sands, in hundreds. Most of them again and again censured Hara, the lord of living beings. They denounced thus even the Vedic Mantras. They honoured the statement of Daksa, because they had been deluded by Visnu’s Maya.
