Paraśurāma’s penance (b) - Verse 14

Vasiṣṭha said: Like a mountain walking on foot, he came to that spot. After reaching the bank of the lake abounding in trees with plenty of blossoms, he placed the burden of pieces of flesh at the foot of a tree. Resorting to the shade of a tree, he sat there for a while.
