Meeting of Purūravas and Pitṛs - Verse 21

Sūta said:: Those who are householders as well as Yajvās (performers of sacrifices) are certainly Ṛtus and Barhiṣads. Those who are householders but are not Yajvās (performers of sacrifices) are the Ārtavas and Agniṣvāttas. The Kāvyas are Aṣṭakāpatis (lords of Aṣṭakas or the eighth day of the lunar fortnights for three months in which Pitṛs are to be propitiated). Now understand the five Abdas thereof.
