On House-building (vāstu-vidyā) - Verse 17

Add 70 to the breadth (in cubits) of the house of the king or the commander and divide the sum by 14 and the same sum again by 35. The quotients will give the breadths of the inner verandah and of the outer verandah in front of the house door of the house of the king or the commander.
